Sorry for the delay, we have recently started to maintain this repository again.

Is there any reason you want first-time users to use a non-default config with 2 orgs and 2 channels? The default config has 1 org and 1 channel which seems sufficient for the main use case of microfab - iterative development of chaincodes and client applications.
