Automatically add / fix Google Takeout Photos metadata?

I used Takeout on 80GB of Google Photos. They all look like most of the metadata is still on the photos but they all have matching JSON files. Is there a way in jExifToolGUI to automate checking all and inserting any missing data?

No, not at this moment. ExifTool can really do a lot here, but it is not implemented in my tool. Did you see https://stackoverflow.com/questions/42024255/bulk-join-json-with-jpg-from-google-takeout ?

But as such it might be a useful addition. I am not saying I will implement it, but I will certainly keep it in mind.
