Hey Hugo - Have you done anything to fix this? I had the same experience with Socket.io's demo chat app. The best thing I have found to do it is http://facebook.github.io/react/

Just curious.

Thanks for the tip @nuhuxi . This issue wasn't solved yet. I'll definitely look into react to fix it.
