issue with android 9

Thanks for this nice library. It makes life really easier. It works perfectly on all phones I have as per sample application (Not AndroidX). However, When I convert to AndroidX , it is not working on android 9. it simply does not display any notification. , but working on other old phones Do you have any suggestion ? Thanks..
