How to define distance for explore.
Which distance are you talking about? What problem are you trying to solve?
@hrnr distance of robot for explore in room. example my room 200 square meters i need to explore 100 square meters .sorry i don’t speak English that well.
I see your point. This is not currently implemented. You can try http://wiki.ros.org/frontier_exploration, which allows you to specify a polygon boundaries to explore.
Having a simpler version of this would be nice to have in this package too, since this package is generally easier to setup.
