Why do you use fetch as export default?

Hi, i'm just curious why do you export this fetch? Is it documented somewhere?

Seems to be a part of Web Standards

Should be documented here: https://hono.dev/docs/concepts/web-standard.

Though I'm not sure myself what this is part of, I can't connect the points
