What are your thoughts on something like this? I'm thinking it'd make for a great calendar of events ... Like the scale could be a 24 hour period, a month, or as he shows here, a year ...

That's awesome. There's an iPad called "Timeli" that implements a timeline. Works awesome. I'd be interested in collaborating on something like this...
