I downgraded node js version to 19.9.0 to avoid the Node Security Compatibility Bypass without luck

looks like nodejs issue ... can you try to downgrade into this exact version : hb-service update-node 20.11.0

lenoxys avatar Apr 18 '24 12:04 lenoxys

I'm still getting the same issue. i am using the plugin's v2.3.30

cmelkane avatar Apr 18 '24 13:04 cmelkane

Didn't make a difference. I should note that I have another Eufy camera (outdoor 2k camera) which works fine with same settings.

Same thing happening on my S350.

using plugin v3.0.2, node 20.11.0. Turning on debug mode, an additional log shows the ff:

Camera Receive Apple HK Stop request{"sessionID":"8b324048-5dde-4229-b369-b9361f562837","type":"stop"}

Having this same issue. EufyCam S330. Node 20.11.0, Plugin v3.3.0

[EufySecurity] ERROR Unable to start the livestream: No livestream emited... Something wrong between HB and your cam!

@lenoxys , Live Streaming seems to work ok in Performance Mode if that's helpful.

Same here.

NodeJs : 20.11.0, plugin v3.4.2, tried 2.3.30 hksv and still getting error message.

Also tried the "Perfomance mode" and still no livestream.

Is your cam / hombridge / iPhone/ipad on the same network ?

lenoxys avatar May 15 '24 19:05 lenoxys

I currently somehow have a working combination for doorbell dual.

Plugin-version: v2.3.30 Node-Version 20.11.0

Refraining from any updates for now.

Hello, in the meantime, I tested several versions of NodeJS and I returned to 20.11.0: no change. I tested all possible combinations in the video settings on quality, snapshots, etc. and of course I updated the plugin to 4.0.2. The problem remains the same.

@lenoxys Do you have a lead on this bug which seems to affect a lot of people?

Thank you for everything. We remain available to do the necessary tests.

ryadkarar avatar Aug 07 '24 10:08 ryadkarar

hello, can you provide access to that camera to this account? [email protected] and which country is your setup is ?

lenoxys avatar Aug 07 '24 10:08 lenoxys

Hi @lenoxys

I just switch to Homebase 3 and it start working.

We can therefore conclude that the camera only works if it is connected to homebase 3. Those who are in homebase 2 cannot connect the camera and it cannot work alone with Homebridge.

ryadkarar avatar Aug 09 '24 08:08 ryadkarar

Hello,

same issue with 2 Eufy S100, i don't have any Homebase. I habe the newest Node, should i downgrade to 20.11.0? I have Italy as country.

could somebody help?

Best regards

Philipp

Hello,

Error: Unable to start the livestream: No livestream emited... Something wrong between HB and your cam!

plugging version v4.2.2 Eufy S350 with systemversio 1.5.1.0

hello, I have the same issue with a Solocam S340. The live stream tries to connect but stops after a few seconds.

How did you get it working when connected to the Homebase 3?

mlavio829 avatar Nov 01 '24 02:11 mlavio829

I've got a T8210C, and have had intermittent success with live-streaming. It worked for a while, then suddenly stopped, and today it irritated me enough to tilt at it.

After watching debug logs, reading a bit of code, and exploring the device parameters, I've been able to live-stream by

  1. disabling WDR (wide dynamic range) and
  2. enabling "smart display first"

I don't remember changing the WDR setting, so either my memory is bad (#fact) or it was toggled as a result of a device firmware update.

Dropping this here in case it helps someone.

Same here, just entered in the console, rebooted home bridge and both S100 Wall Cams are back in business.

I dont have a S350 but literally all of my other cameras (of different types) were having issues. Could only display the last snapshot (due to a trigger or activity) but never an updated image and would not livestream at all. But rolling back to 20.11.0 seems to have solved most of it. Any clue when this plugin will be made compatible with the latest Node.js?

Currently running Homebridge v1.8.5, UI v4.69.0 and plugin v4.3.0. Thanks

This worked for me as well, however the update of the snapshot on Apple Home homepage is not working properly

@lenoxys will the plugin be updated to work with the latest node?

Dude-349 avatar Feb 13 '25 11:02 Dude-349

@Dude-349 the node.js version being updated is totally dependant on Eufy. They currently use features that mean current node.js versions do not work with streaming. If and when Eufy release an update that means current node.js versions function, I am sure that @lenoxys will update documentation stating this.
