CopyQ icon indicating copy to clipboard operation
CopyQ copied to clipboard

Improvement suggestion: conflicts with other applications.

Open Moonmiracle opened this issue 2 years ago • 1 comments

Describe the bug When I use the shortcut key to open CopyQ and click to activate an entry, the 'Fluent Search' in the background will automatically pop up a window, and the entry content will not be pasted (whether it is where I want to paste or in the input box of 'Fluent Search') (This problem does not occur when I use the Windows system clipboard).

To Reproduce Steps to reproduce the behavior:

Firstly, the computer needs to run two applications simultaneously in the background: 'CopyQ' and 'Fluent Search'.

  1. Using shortcut keys to open the CopyQ interface.
  2. Click on any entry.

Expected behavior The 'Fluent Search' interface should not appear.

Version, OS and Environment

  • Application Version [7.1.0]
  • OS [Windows 11 22H2]

CopyQ by default sends a paste shortcut to the target application after activating an item. Perhaps this conflict with some other shortcut. You can disable this by unchecking "Paste to current window" option in History config section in Preferences.
