Hello, I could not find, in this repository, the documentation that is supposed to be ported from the Stacks blockchain repository. https://github.com/blockstack/stacks-blockchain/issues/2353

Hello @agraebe , Thanks for your question. I am looking for the updated version of this documentation https://github.com/blockstack/stacks-blockchain/blob/stacks-1.0/docs/blockstack-did-spec.md Let us say someone wants to use Stacks vs ION for a DID solution. How can he/she assess Stacks? And let us say someone wants to implement a plugin for Veramo (https://github.com/uport-project/veramo/) in order to be able to use Stack DID. How can he/she know about the Stacks DID and its specs? Thanks,

I'm not sure who was involved in the DID work to provide context, especially on the API side. @zone117x - any thoughts?

The only DID-relevant documentation I can find is here: https://docs.stacks.co/build-apps/references/bns#did-encoding-for-subdomains.

There's some DID related context here over here: https://github.com/blockstack/stacks.js/pull/1053

I don't think this is in the scope of the API right now

Hi, @Muhammad-Altabba. I am just catching up here. Would you be able to describe in use-case terms how having DID at the level of API scaffolding would be helpful to you? Your use description is relatively very high-level, so any more context and details you can share would help.
