[Bug] Rules sometimes delete themselves on program start

Steps to reproduce

Start a normal program

Expected behavior

Allowed rule allowed program to use internet

Actual behavior

Hello,

when I start programs like Firefox, Brave, Steam etc. (i.e. normal static programs) these programs are sometimes kicked out, i.e. I have to allow them again and again.

+1, had the same problem for a few weeks and I came on here to check if it was just me.

Firefox (and associated processes such as pingsender.exe etc), Chrome, and Steam all forget for me every day. This also occurs without restarting the program, it seems to happen when unlock the PC after long periods away.

Do you know by chance what's a safe version to revert to in the meantime?

Every week, my most frequently used programs are removed from the Allow List

The rules are deleted over time in an unrecognizable pattern. And this happens even without me working with Simplewall

@henrypp could it be due to the number of rules I have? I have 275 app and 53 user rules

@crazyyzarc i think NO, if rules delete themselfes you can manually restore from profile.xml backup in profile directory

Is there a way to check/log why rules were automatically removed without user interaction?
