Number of chat conversations

Hi,

Does anyone know how can I get the number of chat conversations for a user with the API (1 in my screenshot). I've tried different repports and I can't find it. I've only found the number 2 in my screenshot).

helpscout

Thank you

Hey,

I dug into the app and checked with some other folks on the team and it looks like the reporting endpoints in the API have some improvements in our backlog that'll bring them up to par with the metrics we're showing in the UI. We aren't able to provide an ETA on this but will update this issue once the functionality is available.

The metrics you've circled are showing different figures because:

  • Number 1 reflects the conversations created during the reporting timeframe
  • Number 2 reflects the conversations that were updated by anyone during the reporting timeframe.

Hi Ben!

I also need to get this information (number 1, number of conversations created during the reporting timeframe). Do you have an ETA for this?

In my institution, we've created a dashboard to measure the productivity of our team members, and right now, as we get more and more chat requests from our customers, our stats are being not accurate as we can't get the real number of chats answered for each team member during a timeframe (in our case, by day).

Thanks in advance!

I understand the parity between the api and in-app reports is not ideal. Unfortunately we haven't made these changes, though I've recorded your feedback internally. Hopefully we can make it happen soon!

We're closing this issue due to inactivity. We've moved your request to our backlog of tickets, although we can't tell when we will be able to act on it. Please feel free to reopen if needed. Thank you!
