It's not a requirement to have appdata for every desktop file
I should check it, but can I, without having a look yet, bet they have [the same issue as appimage](https://github.com/openSUSE/open-build-service/issues/4514) where the flatpak binaries aren't actually shown by the api?
Looking at the results of OBS search for binary calls, flatpak isn't an available searchable binary type either...
However OBS displays links to source rpms only when linking to software-o-o, so we can't really remove source rpms from the view without breaking OBS

Technically you can already do that, by searching for source packages, since those will represent the obs package objects
Yeah, I forgot to mention that, that being said, the links should be generated in the controller, just in case we add additional directories there.
