Windows on arm support
I am still debating what computer to get. Was gonna get a Mac thinking about getting a Mac and a steam deck so I can play this game but I was also debating the surface pro so I was wondering if anyone has it if they can see if the game is playable on it.
Game does not start on Surface Pro 11 with Snapdragon X Plus, even when fiddling with compatibility options.
Does it run on the intel version of the surface pro 11 with the core ultra 5 chip?
Why wouldn't it? That's just another x86 PC.
Is the performance bad on it with the ultra 5?

It really shouldn't, provided that the CPU supports the AVX instruction set, it should just work out of the box for x86 processors.
You should also check if the GPU and RAM also meet the minimum requirements (8GB of RAM and a GPU that supports DirectX 12/Vulkan, which is basically any new GPU within at best the past 5 years or so)
Well it would have 16 gigs of ram so I think that's the computer I will buy. Thanks so much
AFAIK XenonRecomp is x86 only for now due to use of assembly.
~~Does the built-in Prism emulator not work with x86 assembly? It should support x86-64 with extensions up to AVX2 nowadays.~~
Seems like you need a rather recent Canary channel build of 24H2 (27744) in order to get AVX2 support on Windows 11 on ARM

With that canary build will It be able to work just curious?

No clue, you'd need to find someone with a WoA laptop who can test it.
I have an SP11 with X Elite. I use it for work as well though, not sure if I want to mess with beta Windows builds. That post is from November though, it probably won't take long until that Prism update gets to stable.
Does anyone have any update on this. Did anyone get it to run on arm?
With the newest Windows Update you should be able to toggle "Show newer emulated CPU features" under the Compatibility Settings of the .EXE and that should enable AVX.
