Tell jurors what to do with a part-finished review

Open MichaelNMaggs opened this issue 8 years ago • 4 comments

As there's no 'save' button on the voting page, some jurors are a bit confused about what to do if they want to stop part way through the voting and come back later. Some worry that all their work will be lost.

It would be worth adding somewhere a note to the effect that votes are stored as they are made. If you close Montage and log back in later you'll be able to continue from where you left off.

@MichaelNMaggs I see your point, and especially as a screen such as "Edit Previous Votes" does require pressing the Save button. On the other hand, I'm up for not cluttering the space too much. I think one good solution for this can be that the first time a juror uses the tool, we have a walk through of the basics of the tool as a tutorial for the juror and we cover this there, but this will be far in the future not for this year, imo.

@slaporte what do you think?

I like this idea. Google docs has an "all changes saved" message that floats around up top, reassuring me that I'm indeed connected and safely saved. I think we should add something similar to the juror interface.

A floating message would be great

Can this be closed as done?
