What problem are you trying to solve?

Just looking to use the latest and greatest dependencies available - 7.x did receive a security fix this week, but it's unclear how long will that continue.

I guess the native Websocket in Node is still a bit off...

Do you have a new or modified API suggestion to solve the problem?
