Remove appearing gaps animation in the registering form

When a field is selected, animated black gaps appear above and below. This is laggy, the gaps are of different size and it weakens the CX. The gaps and the animation could be both removed - blue highlighted text is enough to underline the selected field.

There is either A) no animation or B) no animation and no gaps, so which is otherwise OK? :D

"Gaps are different size". Is this really laggy or just your opinion? :D

The animation is laggy and in my opinion not needed style-wise as the selection is already highlighted in turquoise. One can argue that the animation is cool but as it appears laggy to some users, I would remove it.
