Goal: To assess the intuitiveness of the guest flow for users accessing the Home Unite Us platform on both mobile and desktop devices.

Research Questions: How do users perceive the visibility and usability of task statuses on the dashboard? Is the "Start Application" button easily visible and accessible to users on both mobile and desktop formats? How do users navigate through and complete their guest profiles on both mobile and desktop devices? What are the main usability issues encountered by users during the guest flow process, and how can they be addressed?

Methodology: Usability Testing: Conduct unmoderated usability testing sessions with participants using both mobile and desktop devices. Participants will be asked to perform specific tasks related to viewing task statuses, starting an application, and completing their guest profiles. Gather qualitative feedback on the ease of navigation, clarity of instructions, and overall user experience.

Adding feedback from initial review with team/Bonnie for things we want to test

  • [ ] Review button might not look like a button
  • [ ] Add expand collapse for Application sections in desktop
  • [ ] Submit button placement on review page
  • [ ] Text that specifies they can move around in the application without completing all the sections
