RP017 - Synthesis of Data Science focus groups

Overview

We need to analyze the RP017 study data to learn how our site works for data scientists.

Action Items

• [ ] Review the videos and assign participants participant IDs in the participant tracker
• [ ] Make a copy of the session summary template in the study 17 folder (one for each recording)
• [ ] Summarize each session
• [ ] Synthesize data from the sessions
  • [ ] Affinity mapping: list out insights from the study in a figma section and group them into themes
  • [ ] Create a deck outlining key themes/findings and suggested action items
• [ ] Share findings with team
• [ ] Create a wiki page for this study following the process set out in #2021

This has ready for product but I don't see a question / this isn't a product ticket, so I think it was meant to be ready for prioritization. Changing labels, PM team will be moving tickets to prioritized backlog soon.

1. Progress: I have started summarizing the Focus Group sessions. I am almost halfway through summarizing the first Focus Group. After I complete summarizing Focus Groups, I will synthesize the data, create and affinity map and prepare a slide presentation
2. Blockers: N/A
3. I will have approximately 5 hours this week.
4. ETA: I am not sure, but I think it would take several weeks to be done with this issue.

Hi @jberzowska. I think I am okay to move forward for now. Just 2 points:

1. When I started working on the project, Google Drive froze for a few minutes and inadvertently I created an empty Google doc file and I can't delete it. It is here: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/106755Rye8E5thl_yMfDRMCN8SUepYo62
2. Is the current location of the session summaries fine? They are in the same folder where the recordings are.

It looks like the session summaries are anonymized already. In that case, they should be in the main study folder here - https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1FGIc1BtwgQHSYvxAEIFYCuQJWbl5P9Kt

We only use the PII drive for things that have not been anonymized, and most of the team does not have access to that.

I've moved the untitled document to trash. Feel free to catch me on slack if you need help with anything else like that.
