I think I can flesh out the docs on this area a fair bit (VANT-F) if I can get some help in how to go about it. For now though, the SMD resistors and caps omitted in production from the PCB for J5 - they are imperial 0402 / metric 1005 correct?

Not sure about resistors values but I'm pretty sure it is enough to shortcut them instead of soldering real resistors.

What I usually do when I have to quickly debug via serial without soldering is to touch the "upper" contact with wire directly.
