html5please GitHub ribbon?

As contributions to this repo are really welcome these days, maybe we should consider adding a GitHub Ribbon? Currently the only pointer to the github repo is this fairly little thing in the footer:

Thinking about this more and more I'm not keen on Github ribbons. I should say I really want a contribution encouragement on the site, tho.

@drKraken Yeah, maybe you're right. An encouragement in the about this site section linking up the contributing.md might be better. Maybe you want to suggest something using a PR?

I like the idea of adding a GitHub ribbon. There's a nice one with inline SVG, animation on hover and inline CSS. It's easy to add and looks good. Shall I make a PR?
