Updating env file with new attribute is not picked up by build or serve

First time implemented this approach it worked, now it seems like the env file with old properties is cached and no matter what i change is not updating the files. How does update the build with new env file changes? I have tries ionic serve, ionic build but not success. Appreciated any help please. Thanks
