Execute in REPL action silently fails in Rider 2025

I'm unable to get the "Execute in REPL" action to work in Rider 2025.2.4 and I don't think it's a keymap issue. There is something else going on. I'm guessing this plugin got broken by some IntelliJ updates. Any ideas? Or workarounds other than using an old version of Rider?
