Double licensing
Some institutions, including the LINCC Frameworks team that I'm working with, have strict policies about the licenses of the dependency packages in use. I kindly ask that the project applies double-licensing with a more permissive license, like BSD or MIT.
If @gregreen agrees with this, I can reach out to other contributors to ask for re-licensing to happen.
I am open to double-licensing with either BSD or MIT. @hombit, is there any reason to go with one over the other?
@gregreen I'd vote for BSD but I don't have a strong opinion.
So the final proposal is to go with 'BSD 2-clause "Simplified" license'. I'm going to contact @Edenhofer, @SimonKrughoff, and @conornally to ask them if they agree with this proposal.
I am more than happy to license my contributions under the BSD 2-clause simplified license.
Perfectly happy, is there anything I need to do retrospectively?
@Edenhofer, @conornally, thank you, I believe it is enough to have your replies here!
I have merged the dual-licensing pull request.
