With 0.8:

$ tg -h

$ tg --version
fatal: Not a git repository (or any parent up to mount point /srv/deb)
Stopping at filesystem boundary (GIT_DISCOVERY_ACROSS_FILESYSTEM not set).

Please add options -h,--help to display brief synopsis and program description. Consider also adding options -V,--version (GNU standard; option -v is best reserved for --verbose) to display program version number, license and author in easy to parse format, Like
