Some modernizations

I love this for quick one-off letters on the go, Chromium even produces good looking PDFs. By accident I discovered that it's not totally offline, so I replaced the jQuery parts with plain javascript and simplified some parts, e.g. the debugging baselines and added a 1cm x 1cm grid when the body tag has the debug class.
