Syndication plugin for Mastodon

This is more so for myself or anyone who would like to take a pop at this. 🙂

A syndication plugin for Mastodon would be excellent. Documentation is available to get started. It probably makes sense for the publisher of such a package to have their own repository - this issue is merely a discussion/reference point to launch from as well as to express public interest in such a syndication plugin.

The Mastodon API is also well documented.

Maybe a duplicate of #35 but using the mastodon API would definitely be much easier than full on ActivityPub
