The display order of Products in a category does not reflect in the sorting order.
Go to any category --> add products in the "Products" tab. Set the Display Order as you want.
It does not impact the sort order when you open the category page.
The order depends on --> Product --> Additional Info --> Display order for category page.
It's confusing. Any suggestions?
Yes, I know these two settings on the product can be confusing. Display order in the category is used to generate breadcrumbs on the product page.
When the same product is sold under different categories, and needs to be shown in different order, this will create issue.
The display order in the category mapping will make more sense in such scenario.
