Bug description

Forgive me I have near zero experience with google maps. If I copy this code to a .html page on my linux server should a map open (with the existing Google maps API key)?

With existing key or my own key that is authorised on my IP I get a blank white page. I can see alll the code in source. Thanks Colin K

Steps to reproduce

copy the code to an HTML page, upload to a server.

If necessary swap the Google API key for your own and ensure your key is authorised for your site or your IP
