PWA URL click in email, Prevent pwa from re-opening when already opened

Hi Guys,

I admit, this is not an issue but you guys know are the topic' masters. Apologize for that. When clicking on a notification, the SW tells the already opened app to open on the right item, this works perfect. But if I provide a link in an email, the PWA will be reopened on every click (eating resources and network bandwidth to get firebase records). Is there a way to catch the request in chrome and open the already opened app (in a behavior similar to the one of the notification) ?
