cpplint needs update after changed styleguide: output params should be references now
i appreciate the recent change of the c++ style guide, because formerly the guidelines said, that output params of functions should be pointers and should not be const references. (old lines 1709, 1710, 1768--1785) the old rule was a really bad idea in my opinion (and the 'con' was not valid), so it's good, that is was changed now.
however, cpplint.py still has the old rule implemented, see https://github.com/google/styleguide/blob/gh-pages/cpplint/cpplint.py#L5142-L5149.
so it would be great, if cpplint.py would be adapted to the changes of the guidelines.
any plan to upgrade the cpplint? or explain this in the c++ style guide?
