TypeError on Safari from /releases/yXSLJBpiFoTYkexaPhFknpU7/recaptcha__en.js

Issue description I started seeing this error yesterday (from splunk logs), from a new (to my logs) version of recaptcha__en.js:TypeError: undefined is not an object (evaluating 'w.window[D[1]].Im[g]=n')

From this filename: https://www.gstatic.com/recaptcha/releases/yXSLJBpiFoTYkexaPhFknpU7/recaptcha__en.js

It began at 8am PST in small numbers and spiked at 5pm PST 2020-08-22.

edit it actually cropped up on 2020-08-21 as well, but only a few. Maybe this was a test release? First occurrence from: https://www.gstatic.com/recaptcha/releases/Nfb-D_IcV51Q9hgfCVkR2_FB/recaptcha__en.js And in this version it was X.window[O[0]].Im[J]=g

Environment

  • google/recaptcha version: yXSLJBpiFoTYkexaPhFknpU7
  • These are the top userAgents logging the issue. Mainly recent versions of Safari, but a bit of Chrome85.

Reproducing the issue I unfortunately can't get the same version to show up in safari when I try it. And in chrome if I force a redirect to that specific version, I can't get to a breakpoint on the line with the issue. I'm hoping that your access to the non-minified code makes it possible to look at this error and immediately spot what's undefined, or that you can give me a hint otherwise.
