Option for displaying only indents

Seeings the tabs and dots everywhere in the code annoys me a bit, but I really enjoy seeing which characters make the indents.

Would it be possible to add a new option for that?

To be more precise, I would love to have an option to hide all space characters (not tabs) which are repeated only once. Those are all over the place, and not relevant to see.

An example:

The only "hidden" characters I want to see would be those first few spaces that indent the file.
