Random crash after opening on Windows

Version, Operating system v1.5.0 on Windows 11

Describe the bug Cherrytree randomly crashes <5 seconds after opening. It shows up in both installed as well as portable version. If I open in administrator mode, it is comparatively better (less/no crash)

Tried reinstalling multiple times, no difference.

To Reproduce I don't know how to reproduce in some other machine.

UPDATE Running in administrative mode seems to work fine.

I have a similar issue. I didn't try running as administrator, but running it in Windows 8 compatibility mode seems to fix it. Version 1.6.2.
