Organizations can restrict which repositories can enable Advanced Security (GHES)
Summary
Currently, GitHub Enterprise Server administrators can define a policy that determines which GitHub organizations can choose to enable GitHub Advanced Security, in order to facilitate a gradual roll-out of our security features like code scanning and secret scanning. We will be expanding this to a more fine-grained level of control where GitHub organizations can define a which repositories can enable Advanced Security.
Intended Outcome
Enable GitHub organizations to manage the roll-out of Advanced Security across their business.
How will it work?
GitHub organizations will be able to define which repositories can choose to enable GitHub Advanced Security.
