Proposed solution
I've been doing plenty of work with terminal coding agents inside of GitHub Codespaces recently and I'd like to propose having a Codespace / Dev Container in this repo that allows folks to spin up a Codespace that has GitHub Copilot CLI pre-installed which I can run inside VS Code, especially via Terminals in Editor Area.

We've definitely talked about setting up copilot as a devcontainer feature -- thanks for the feedback!
any progress on this? I would also love to have a simple devcontainer feature and not adjust my dev Dockerfile with the required steps.
+1 a devcontainer feature would be great. We've got existing devcontainers configured across multiple projects and would like to easily light up the Copilot CLI in them.
