Filter refs by default and add corresponding command line flags

A Copilot-assisted experiment to push only the 50 most recent tags by default and omit other branches than main.

This might very well be a rabbit hole with customers using older major versions etc. I'm inclined to not go with this approach to keep things simple, but wanted to keep it for reference in case we continue to have problems pushing refs to GHES.
