Copilot doesn't work with new projects

Describe the bug

When opening one project in Xcode, Copilot works. After creating another project, Copilot can get the file, but the project is unchanged.

Versions

  • Copilot for Xcode: 0.44.149
  • Xcode: 26.1
  • macOS: 26.1

Steps:

  1. open Xcode.
  2. Create a project.

Copilot didn't recognize the project.

Close and re-open Copilot didn't work. Quit Xcode and then re-open worked. Copilot was set to quit and open with Xcode.

Hi @owenzhao , please try with our latest prerelease version and this should be fixed already.
