GPT-5 Codex in OpenRouter returns 403, but in other apps it works

Describe the bug

I tried GPT-5 Codex in OpenRouter and got 403 error. But in other apps, it works. So it must be something wrong with Copilot.

Versions

  • Copilot for Xcode: 0.44.148
  • Xcode: 26.1
  • macOS: 26.1

i checked with opernrouter support they admit its their problem but they refused to fix very stupid it defeated the own fking purposes of openrouter @openrouter

@johndjchan I don't think it is their problem, unless the explicitly against Copilot. As my screenshots shown, the other app, OpenCat, can use the gpt5-codex with the same API Key with OpenRouter.
