xcode26 lag
If you open the Copilot plugin, the input of xcode will lag, but it will be resolved after closing it
Hi @wuaigmiueogeua, thanks for reaching out.
This might be a known issue, and some improvements have been made in the latest pre-release version.
By the way, we've also seen reports of lagging in Xcode 26, which might be resolved by updating to version 26.01. Hope this helps!

Hello, I'm using Xcode 26.0.1 with Copilot for Xcode 0.43.0. There's still some input lag, but it's better than Xcode 26.0.
👋 Just to "me too" this - I'm running Xcode 26.0.1 with a large project, and Github Copilot extension just about brought my system to its knees, with CPU usage of up to 80% noticed in Activity Monitor.
I've had to quit it for now and only open it for short periods of time when I need that helping hand - just to be able to type! Wonder what's changed...

This still happening with 26.0.1 on large project, did not happen with old version of the extension
