Video Bounty - Zcash Gitcoin Grants Round Launching Soon!
Hello friends,
This week, Gitcoin Grants will be launching a campaign to do Zcash Gitcoin Grants round 1.
This is a big milestone for us; bc Zcash is our first cross-chain Gitcoin Grants round. I will be presenting Gitcoin Grants, and announcing the Zcash grants round Launch Date, during the "Zcash Fourth Birthday" celebration this week, and as part of that campaign, I want to build some bridges between the Zcash and Gitcoin/Ethereum ecosystems.
To celebrate Zcash's Fourth Bday, and the launch of Zcash Gitcoin Grants Round 1, I would like for the Gitcoin community to make the Zcash community feel welcome via GIFs/Videos/other media that represent the <3 between the Zcash/Ethereum/Gitcoin communities.
This is a bounty worth 20 DAI, I will pay 10 people to do the following
- Confirm that there are not already 10 submissions on the bounty.
- Load up this zoom virtual background ( https://bits.owocki.com/JrugpNxK ) or any other Zcash related virtual background and YOU in the foreground.
- Record a 12 second or less video stating your gitcoin handle + why you care about privacy, why privacy is a public good, why Zcash matters to you.
- Submit work on this bounty and link your video in .mov format in the submission (please name your file username.mov where username is your gitcoin username)
- By submitting this bounty you agree to let Gitcoin use your video / your likeness in its marketing campaigns.
Here are some sample scripts you can use for inspiration. I also recommend reading the cypherpunks manifesto to get inspiration.
- "I'm @owocki on Gitcoin; Privacy in an open society requires cryptography, and thats why I'm excited to see more funding sources for cryptography"
- I'm X on Gitcoin and work on Y in Ethereum; I think privacy is important -- welcome Zcash to the Gitcoin/Ethereum family!
- I'm active in the Ethereum community doing X, Zcash's mission is important to me because Y
