Hi, we also met this crash when using git lfs. Would this fix be merged into 2.x version?

No, this hasn't been merged yet. We're waiting for someone to verify that this fix works for them. If you're willing to do so, then I'll finish writing it up and we can include it in the next release. When CI is finished building, it will produce binaries if you need one to test.

The 2.x series is now EOL and won't be seeing any updates.
