authenticate with a strong password

Hi, forgive me for my bad english.

I'm trying to use this module to authenticate users using a ldap. It works fine but when the user have a very strong password (including &, ', " ...), it's not working.

How could i solve this problem ?

Hi, I'd just like to add to that that spaces in the password trigger an error too.
