It seems like the Airflow-provided Sentry is not reporting failures as this plugin does. In fact it’s not sending them at all unless they happen outside of a task or DAG run.

What version of airflow are you running? There's https://github.com/apache/airflow/pull/7232#discussion_r404593689 that might be the fix for more recent versions of airflow, but it hasn't been merged yet.

Thanks for pointing me to this—we’re on the latest Airflow release so I would strongly suspect this issue is affecting us.
