Define maxSpans

Problem Statement

I want to define the max number of spans for the node package. I saw this option is available on the tracing package on the init function.

Hey @PiR1, currently _experiments.maxSpans is an experimental feature which has limited support.

Our teams are currently discussing promoting this feature into a first-level citizen of sentry options.

This will take some time so if you want to spread this up, PRs are always welcome! :)

Until then, I will backlog this.

Why was this issue closed?

While we think it would be helpful to solve this issue, we're busy with a lot of other tasks at the moment. Therefore, this issue is not a priority for us at this time. If you still want to see this resolved, please consider opening a PR for it - we're always happy to review them.
