Instructions for the EPF component of admin.js?

Hi there,

I was interested in trying this out, but the instructions aren't clear on how to hook the back end up with EPF. Or am I missing a section? I'm assuming I'd need to ensure the backend responds to certain REST requests, but I'm not sure which are important / required.
