What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.Using ODK Virtual Machine Version 1.4.4
2.Uploading a form with once(random())
3.Java exception Error

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Uploaded form

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Windows 7.  ODK Aggregate Virtual Machine Ver 1.4.4 

Please provide any additional information below.
Converted this form to xml but cannot upload it
