Generate commit message does not work

When you click on the shortcut nothing happens

Using ctrl+shift+p -> Generate commit message|

Displays an error message No contents found

It works normally on my Mac but it doesn`t work on windows.

My git extension was not showing changes, so I disabled and enabled it again. It worked, started showing changes fine. But now the commit message can not be generated anymore. "Failed to generate commit message: No contents found". I'm on v2.0.77(windows).

I wonder if I'll have to cancel my subscription and start using the new google antigravity. I heard that it can generate commit messages.
