cursor Downloading WSL server on every startup

Every time I open Cursor, it downloads WSL server before I can start working, it takes about 30 minutes. That's very annoying.

I'm experience the same issue. It's super slow or gets stuck at downloading.

i have the same issue after updating cursor =( my vscode is able to connect to WSL just fine EDIT: i simply reinstalled cursor 0.45.8 and seems to be working for now (not auto updating).

I jsut noticed it too, since day before yesterday.

it would so much be a problem if the downlaod wasn't so slow

I've been dealing with this issue for months, since switching from vscode to cursor. Fortunately mine doesn't take 30 minutes to download/install... it's more like 30 seconds. Still, very annoying.
