geode on windows 7

recently when i moved, i downloaded gd from steam on my old pc (not without problems), but when i went to download geode, it just didn't work. i tried to fix it in different ways, but nothing worked. does geode work on windows 7? i just don't have money to update my pc :(

the problem itself is that when i download geode and run gd, i don't see the geode button
